In the great commission, Jesus has given us the command to make disciples of "all nations". This involved going as a church both across the street (Community Outreach) and across the world (Missions) in order to reach all who would desire to know the Lord.
God envisions a community of believers, both in this age and in the age to come. The picture found in Revelation of the end-time community is a vision of people "from every tribe, people, and language"; worshiping the Lord God and the Lamb (Revelation ;7:9). By reaching out to all nations, the church participates in God's great vision for his people.
The Liberty Church of Christ is excited about our new Bible class called Best Friends in Faith. This class is designed for teenagers and young adults with special needs and meets every Sunday morning at 9 a.m. for Bible study and at 10 a.m. for worship. Every week students are taught a Bible lesson that includes hands-on, engaging activities, songs, and a craft related to the week's lesson. Christians at the Liberty Church of Christ are blessed to be able to work and learn with these amazing students. We welcome you to come be a part of this wonderful work and "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ", 2 Peter 3:18
Members of the congregation are also involved in the World Bible School which introduces the Bible to people not only in areas of the United States, but to people in foreign lands. This is performed through printed lessons and personal letters that are mailed. This is an excellent opportunity for those who cannot travel to other countries to help spread the Word.
The range of mission activities which the Liberty church lends support to is varied and spans the globe from here in the United States to mission fields in Africa, Europe and Asia. Through participation in group efforts to these places, small local churches are edified and new Christians are welcomed into the church.

The congregation here in Liberty is very blessed to be able to support various children's homes throughout the area. We are able to support them through financial contributions and by various food, clothing and toy drives throughout the year.
Our benevolence program is set up to assist those in our community who are struggling to make ends meet. We have a group of individuals who assist this program and outreach. Contact the church office for further information.
The food pantry ministry is overseen by the Liberty church of Christ. The food pantry feeds thousands of people each year throughout Liberty county. The food pantry is run solely by donations and staffed by volunteers of the Liberty church of Christ. Please contact Wayne Noonkester for further information regarding how you can either benefit from this program or become a volunteer.
The congregation in Liberty takes the challenge of James 1:27 to heart as we support local children's homes with monthly support as well as other local benevolence programs.
